About Me!

In late May of 2007 I stood in the wings of a stage watching the rest of my dance class clad in sparkly camo outfits dance their hearts out to NSYNC’s Space Cowboy. The stage lights blurred through my anxiety-sprung tears. It’s August of 2017. Ten years later and I am standing on a stage in my first college show, living truthfully as a queer woman. Theatre is challenging, it requires strength, bravery, and honesty. Both of these moments have stayed with me and formed me into the artist that I am today.

I am dedicated to creating work that reflects and challenges all audiences, inspiring a dialogue that leads to examination and understanding. As a student of humanity, I am constantly learning more about the world around me and working to show that world to others. I am committed to living truthfully onstage and screen and witnessing the stories that I myself cannot tell. I graduated from VCU with my BFA in Theatre Performance and minor in English and am currently attending UH’s Professional Actor Training Program. I bring to the table a literary and dramaturgical based analysis, focus on story, and passion for work rooted in the ensemble and imagination. I most enjoy working on reclaiming classic works for the modern audience, tv/film period dramas, site-specific theatre pieces with significant audience immersion and have recently worked on projects focusing on bisexual and polyamorous relationships, queer theory, and political corruption and manipulation. Things much bigger than a dance recital to an NSYNC hit, no matter how good of a song it is.
